Basic Mediation TrainingÂ
Join Kat Fahrion for a 40-hour Basic Mediation training that will fulfill Oregon UTCR 12.100(4) requirements, but with a uniquely youth- and academic-supportive lens. Held via Zoom on five consecutive Thursdays (July 24 and 31, August 7, 14, and 21, 2025), we will explore communication and facilitation tools for impartial conflict resolution through a combination of presentation, discussion, and practice. Open doors to working with courts, community organizations, or your own conflict resolution work.

Court-Connected Parenting Plan Mediation Course
Join us this spring for our third custody and parenting time mediation course. Over Zoom so distance is no object, this course will provide you with information about all the necessary and core optional pieces of a parenting plan in Oregon, guidance on mediation tools and skills that are especially effective when navigating family dynamics, and a reflective look at many of the challenges and ethical conundrums of supporting families through the many complexities of co-parenting.

2023 OMA Conference, November 4, 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.: In a world where polarized thinking has become more and more prevalent, there are many disputes in which the people involved see no room for common ground or understanding and may even see anyone on the "other side" as evil or fundamentally wrong. Join us to explore some of the techniques and resources anyone trying to intervene in a highly polarized dispute might find useful and take a thoughtful exploration of some of the most polarized societal disputes in the US and how we might all move forward.
